The problem
Ask an agent to produce a launch video or a polished landing page and it improvises. Sometimes the result is great. Often it misses steps an expert wouldn’t, and you spend your time correcting it.
Skills fix this by giving the agent a proven process to follow, along with the scripts and reference material the job needs. But writing a good skill takes real expertise and many rounds of testing, and most skills shared online haven’t had either.
Why now
The major coding agents now load skills the same way: a folder with a SKILL.md file. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and OpenCode all support it. A skill written well once can work across all of them, which makes a shared library of high-quality skills possible for the first time.
What we do
We write and curate every skill on SkillVP ourselves. Each one covers a complete job, ships with working source and scripts, and is tested on real tasks in every supported agent before it’s published. When agents change, we update the skills, and everyone who has them gets the update.
Installing is one command. A small open-source command-line tool signs you in through your browser, checks which skills you have access to, and puts the skill in the right folder for your agent.
How we make money
SkillVP sells access to skills. There are no ads, and we don’t sell data.
