Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and SkillVP (“SkillVP”, “we”) for using skillvp.com, the SkillVP command line and the skills we provide. By creating an account or installing a skill, you agree to them.

Your account

  • You need an account to install skills, including free ones. Use a real email address you control.
  • You must be old enough to agree to a contract where you live, and at least 16.
  • Keep your account to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens on it, including anything done with a command-line login you approved. You can sign out devices on your account’s Devices page.

What you may do with a skill

When you install a skill, free or paid, we give you a personal, non-transferable license to use it. You may:

  • Use it with your AI agents for personal and commercial work, including work you do for clients.
  • Change it for your own use.
  • Keep and use everything your agent produces with it. That output is yours.

You may not:

  • Share, publish, redistribute, sell or sublicense the skill’s files, changed or unchanged.
  • Include a skill in a product, template or service that others install or download.
  • Share your account or login so other people can install skills.
  • Get around how skills are delivered, for example by scripting downloads you aren’t entitled to.

A license covers one person. Team licenses may come later; until then, each person who uses a paid skill needs their own purchase or Premium plan. The command line tool itself is open source under the MIT license; that license covers the tool, not the skills or the SkillVP name.

Buying

  • Payments are handled by Creem, our merchant of record. Creem processes your payment, charges sales tax or VAT where it applies and sends your receipt, and its own terms apply to the payment. We never see your card details.
  • Prices are in US dollars and include sales tax or VAT where it applies.
  • Single skills are one-time purchases. They include future updates to that skill for as long as we offer it.
  • Premium renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. Cancel anytime from the Billing page: cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for. If we change the price, we’ll tell you before your next renewal.
  • Lifetime (founding member) is a one-time payment for Premium access for as long as SkillVP operates, with no renewals.

Refunds

Because a skill can be installed as soon as you pay, all payments are non-refundable once access is granted. That includes single skills, Lifetime and Premium renewals, whether or not you use what you bought, and we don’t give partial refunds or credit for unused subscription time.

Before you buy, check the skill’s page (what it does, which agents it works with, its changelog) and try the free skills. If you’re unsure whether a skill fits, ask us first: [email protected].

Two exceptions:

  • If you were charged twice, or charged without your permission, email us from your account’s email address or reply to your receipt, and we’ll correct it. Corrections are issued by Creem to the original payment method.
  • Where you live, consumer law may give you refund or cancellation rights that can’t be excluded. Those rights still apply.

If a payment is refunded or disputed with your bank, access to what it paid for ends.

Updates and changes

We update skills, add new ones and sometimes withdraw a version or a skill. Withdrawing a skill stops new installs; copies you’ve already installed keep working on your machine and stay covered by your license.

Using skills with AI agents

Skills are instructions, scripts and reference files that your AI agent follows. Agents can make mistakes, and a skill can run commands on your computer through your agent. Review what your agent does, especially before it changes files, runs scripts or sends anything. You’re responsible for how you use the output.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service: no attempts to break or overload it, access other people’s accounts, scrape it in bulk, resell access or use it for anything illegal. We may suspend or close accounts that do, without a refund.

Don’t use our skills to make prohibited content. That includes sexually explicit, pornographic or other NSFW material, any sexual content involving minors, content that harasses, threatens or promotes violence or hate against people, non-consensual or deceptive depictions of real people (including deepfakes), and content that infringes someone else’s rights. This applies to everything you make with a skill, including videos, images, audio and websites. We may suspend or close accounts that break this rule, without a refund.

Disclaimers and liability

SkillVP and the skills are provided “as is”. We work to keep them correct and available but don’t promise they’ll be error-free, uninterrupted or right for your purpose. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.

Ending

You can stop using SkillVP anytime and ask us to delete your account. If we ever shut SkillVP down, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice and keep downloads open for that time so you can install what you’re entitled to.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For significant changes, we’ll email you or show a notice on the site before they take effect. Continuing to use SkillVP after that means you accept the new terms.
